Regarding location, 4 of the 9 studies were conducted in the U.S [68,71,73,74], one in Kenya [69], one in South Africa [76], one in the UK [75], one in Canada [72] and one in Nigeria [70].…”

“…As shown in Table 2, most of the interventions were delivered through smartphone applications; three used a preexisting social network (e.g., Facebook), and two were provided through a website. Regarding the intervention's aims, the most common goals were to increase treatment adherence [68][69][70]73,74] and to foster social support [70,75,76]. Only one intervention [72] was tailored specifically to address stress and stigma, and one intervention [71] was intended to decrease risky sexual behaviors.…”

“…PL improves long-term engagement in care and viral suppression among a general sample of PLWH at a university-affiliated Ryan White clinic. 16 PL was developed based on best practices for chronic disease management 17 and user-centered design. 18 The developers employ benchmarking as a summative method of evaluating user experience by collecting analytic, quantitative, and usability feedback from PLWH who use the program, to make ongoing improvements to the PL platform and features.…”
