“…The UV-vis absorption and photoluminescence spectroscopies were performed to study the optical properties of as-synthesized PCNDs-2. As displayed in Figure f, the UV–vis spectrum of PCNDs-2 showed two characteristic absorption bands at ∼230 and 280 nm, which result from the π–π* transition of the aromatic CC sp 2 domains and n –π* transition of surface functional groups (CO, C–N). It is noteworthy that there are subtle absorptions deconvoluted from the absorption band at 280 nm, which indicates that PCNDs-2 successfully inherit the aromatic structure of their precursors ( l -phenylalanine and l -tryptophan). “…An extra steric hindrance is introduced between Si‐CDs particles by co‐assembling with MAs, greatly suppressed FRET attenuation. [ 23 ] This method provides curing conditions and inhibits nonradiative relaxation, the excited electrons can only return to S 0 by radiative transitions, forming a high‐radiation recombination path in the solid state, thereby significantly increasing the PL (Figure 4f).
