Lorenz Biermayer and the developement of the Pathologic-anatomical Collection in the Fools Tower

Abstract: The history of the Pathologic-anatomical Collection in the Fools Tower dates back to the eighteenth century. After a brief summery of the events leading to the creation of the museum, the life and work of Lorenz Biermayer (1778-1843) is examined.
