In vitro permeability of etch-and-rinse and self-etch adhesives used for immediate dentin sealing

Abstract: To investigate the permeability of deep dentin following immediate sealing with different etch-and-rinse and self-etch adhesives (Single Bond 2, Adper Prompt L-Pop, Clearfil Protect Bond, Clearfil S3 Bond, G-Bond) and a dentin desensitizer (Gluma). Fluidtransport model was used to measure fluid conductance during and after application of adhesives. Polyvinylsiloxane impressions of bonded dentin were taken to monitor fluid transudation from the surface of the adhesives. The area and number of dentinal fluid dro… Show more

“…To measure the leakage at implant-abutment interface of implant-internal hex zirconium (I-IhZ), implant-internal hex titanium (I-IhT) and implant-morse tapered titanium (I-MTtT), a modified fluid filtration method was used 14. The parts of the filtration model (tubes, micropipettes, buffer, and etc.)…”

Since cleaning and dehydrating processes were performed accurately, the area aspects apart from denture surface were all accepted as biofilm surface of that microorganism.…”
