“…FTIR‐FEWS technique is based on the phenomenon of attenuated total reflection (ATR) and on IR transparent optical fibres which serve as a wave guide for the IR light. This technique was found useful in industrial (Afanasyeva et al , 2000) and biomedical fields (Bindig et al , 2001; Ring et al , 2006).
