Abstract:The experimental excitations for luminescent glasses are usually monochromatic, but LED chips in applications have an emission bandwidth. In order to investigate the luminescence properties of rare earth ions doped glasses excited by broadband lights, a computational model was presented based on the dependences of excitation wavelengths on emission spectra, chromaticity coordinates and correlated color temperatures (CCTs). The simulations were carried out applying Ce/Tb/Eu co-doped calcium borosilicate glasses… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
