Abstract: Background: The use of lung ultrasound for the diagnosis of pulmonary atelectasis remains controversial. Therefore, we performed a protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of lung ultrasound for the diagnosis of pulmonary atelectasis both in adults and pediatrics.
