Magnetic Properties of Iron(II)‐Cyclo‐Tetraphosphate Fe2P4O12

Abstract: Polycrystalline samples of iron(II)‐cyclo‐tetraphosphate were prepared and the magnetic properties were investigated using magnetic susceptibility, magnetization and heat capacity measurements. The Curie‐Weiss law is obeyed down to ca. 240 K and a paramagnetic Curie temperature Θp of 28 K was obtained. Susceptibility‐ and heat capacity mesurements revealed a Curie‐temperature TC of 17 K.
