In this analysis, we study the eigenvalue solution of non-relativistic particles confined by the Aharonov-Bohm (AB) flux field with pseudoharmonic potential (harmonic oscillator plus inverse square potential) in a point-like global monopole defect. We then study the thermodynamic properties of harmonic oscillator, such as the vibrational free energy, mean energy, entropy, and specific heat capacity using the partition function Z(β ) and analyze the influences of the topological defects and the magnetic flux field with this potential. Finally, an expression of persistent currents is obtained and analyze the effects of the topological defects and the potential.
