Abstract:As malformações arteriovenosas (MAV) são anomalias congênitas que afetam a estrutura vascular e podem ocorrer tanto no pulmão quanto no cérebro. A fisiopatologia da MAV envolve um desvio anormal do fluxo sanguíneo arterial para as veias, sem passar pelos capilares, o que pode causar hipoxemia, insuficiência cardíaca e outras complicações.
