“…Além disso, o controle da biomassa de reprodutores é um ponto importante no empreendimento, sobretudo no monitoramento do manejo alimentar e o acompanhamento individualizado dos reprodutores (podendo ser por meio de "microchips"), que se inicia desde a entrada no plantel, dando segmento aos índices produtivos desses animais (como, número de desovas, produção de óvulos/ovos, qualidade seminal, taxas de fertilização, eclosão e sobrevivência das larvas, além da qualidade dos alevinos produzidos) (AMARAL et al, 2019;GUERREIRO et al, 2015) Quanto a taxa de ração no período reprodutivo e fora deste período foram diferentes nas pisciculturas, onde em média as propriedades realizam arraçoamento de 2,5 a 3% de biomassa em períodos não reprodutivos, aumentando para 4 a 5% no período de reprodução.
