Management of Atrial Fibrillation

Abstract: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is associated with increases in the risk of mortality, congestive heart failure, and stroke. Medical treatment is aimed at preventing thrombo-embolic complications and reducing symptoms and consequences related to the arrhythmia.
