Management of breast abscesses

Abstract: Hospital experience of breast abscess is changing as nonpuerperal abscess associated with periductal mastitis assumes increasing importance. Clinical presentation, bacteriology, and management differ notably from acute puerperal abscess, but the latter can still cause severe morbidity.
