The aims of this study were (1) to explore out the process of implementing Problem Based Learning using PowerPoint media in Arabic lessons at MA Fattah Hasyim Tambakberas Jombang; (2) To find out the results of applying Problem Based Learning in Arabic lessons with PowerPoint media in increasing student learning interest. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. The results of the study show (1) The implementation of the Problem Based Learning model at MA Fattah Hasyim Tambakberas Jombang in Arabic for class XI is carried out through three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. (2) Overall, it can be concluded that student's interest in learning Arabic using the Problem Based Learning model is included in the outstanding category; this is because students can explore further problems that are closely related to student’s daily lives and also required to be able to think critically and cooperate in groups to solve the problems presented in learning.

Purpose - The aims of this study include: Describing the Arabic mufradat mastery of upper-class students and describing the stages of applying the Al-Miftah method in mastering Arabic mufradat at the Al-Ikhlas Islamic Boarding School Tambakberas Jombang, and the impact of the application of the Al-Miftah method. Design/methodology/approach - The aims of this study include: Describing the Arabic mufradat mastery of upper-class students and describing the stages of applying the Al-Miftah method in mastering Arabic mufradat at the Al-Ikhlas Islamic Boarding School Tambakberas Jombang, and the impact of the application of the Al-Miftah method. Findings/results – The results showed that: Arabic mufradat mastery of upper-class students reached 30 mufradat mastered in each class and achieved Arabic mufradat learning indicators in the form of correctly composing sentences. The stages of applying the Al-Miftah method at the Al-Ikhlas Islamic Boarding School Tambakberas Jombang start from the opening, apperception by singing nadhom mufradat Al-Miftah, delivering material, understanding the material, practising, evaluating and closing. he impact of the application of the Al-Miftah method in mastering Arabic mufradat, students begin to be able to apply mufradat as interaction material and write Arabic sentences. Originality/value - The originality of this study lies in the utilization of the Al-Miftah method for teaching Arabic mufradat in Islamic boarding schools, resulting in significant achievements in students' Arabic language proficiency. Latar Belakang: Pentingnya kemampuan berbahasa asing dalam menghadapi era globalisasi yang semakin terhubung dan meningkatnya permintaan untuk mempelajari bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa resmi di lebih dari 20 negara. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan dan tantangan belajar bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa asing dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi dilihat dari prespektif mahasiswa dan dosen. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui survei dan wawancara kepada mahasiswa aktif program pembelajaran bahasa Arab dan dosen yang mengajar bahasa Arab. Hasil dan Pembahasan: The research findings indicate that: (1) Students have academic goals to master Islamic texts and professional goals to enhance career opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa region. (2) Student motivation in learning the Arabic language encompasses religious, cultural, and professional factors. (3) Challenges faced by students in Arabic language learning include the complexity of Arabic grammar and writing systems, a lack of opportunities for language practice outside the classroom, and limited learning resources. (4) Instructors are aware of the importance of focusing on developing Arabic language communication skills and supporting language practice outside the classroom through social activities. Kesimpulan dan Implikasi: Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pengembangan program pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang mengintegrasikan bahasa ini dalam berbagai konteks komunikasi, meningkatkan akses terhadap sumber daya pembelajaran, menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang inklusif dan inovatif, serta memberikan dukungan dalam praktik bahasa Arab di luar kelas. Implikasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran bahasa Arab di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi, sehingga mahasiswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa Arab dan pemahaman tentang budaya Arab secara lebih komprehensif dan relevan dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi.
