Mapping multispectral Digital Images using a Cloud Computing software: applications from UAV images

Abstract: Due to technology development related to agricultural production, aircrafts such as the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and technologies such as Multispectral photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, have great potential in supporting some of the pressing problems faced by agricultural production in terms of analysis and testing of variables. This paper reports an experience related to the analysis of a vineyard with multispectral photogrammetry technology and UAVs and it demonstrates its great potential to analyze th… Show more

“…However, since SDS can move large areas, the SDS receptor areas can become potential risk areas where vegetation loss and soil erosion can occur continuously, affected by SDS [3,34]. Since remote sensing technology can monitor continuous land surface changes and accumulate information that can be connected with other environmental industry, it is advantageous to use this technology to be able to systematically adapt and manage the SDS, which has characteristics of the event [71].…”

“…Smart farming uses local soil data such as structure, composition, moisture, salinity, cation exchange capacity (CEC), and pH to optimize production (Corwin et al, 2003;Grisso et al, 2005;Ould Ahmed et al, 2010). One approach is remote sensing with satellites or aerial vehicles such as drones with hyper-/multispectral imaging (Mulla, 2013;Saura et al, 2019). For the continuous monitoring of environmental parameters, the installation of local sensors is common.…”

“…Unmanned aerial systems (UAS) represent a noncontact and nondestructive measurement method that can obtain the spectral, structural, and texture features of the target at different spatiotemporal scales (Jiang et al, 2019). These systems have the ability to obtain high spatial and temporal resolution data and have great application potential (Niu et al, 2019;Ramon Saura et al, 2019).…”
