Abstract:Salt crust is a normal landform in drying-out salt lake basins or marine regression coastlines, but the surface evolution processes over a decadal or even centenary period are not well understood due to poor data records. Microrelief characteristics control erodibility and erosivity, which will significantly influence wind erosion and dust emission. It is essential to classify the microrelief pattern of salt crust for mapping its spatial distribution and evaluating the environmental process. A desiccated inlan… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
