Marketplace Trade in Large Cities in Poland

Abstract: Traditional marketplace trade brings many socio-economic benefits: it affects the local labour market, entrepreneurship, and tourism. In many countries, activities are undertaken to support the operation of marketplaces. “…The prices on the observed market vary significantly depending on the intensity of offer and demand, but they are almost always lower than the prices of the same products in supermarkets and grocery shops. This significantly attracts more customers and affects the more favorable sale results of the selected market (Bieszk-Stolorz and Dmytr ow, 2021).
