Abstract: Fabry disease (FD) is an X-linked lysosomal storage disorder where impaired α-galactosidase A enzyme activity leads to the intracellular accumulation of undegraded glycosphingolipids, including globotriaosylsphingosine (lyso-Gb3) and related analogues.
