Abstract: Despite improvement in the care of diabetes over the years, pregnancy complicated by type 1 diabetes (T1DM) is still associated with adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes. To date, proteomics studies have been conducted to identify T1DM biomarkers in non-pregnant women, however, no studies included T1DM pregnant women.
