“…Moreover, the increase in temperature increases the ionic motions in the PDESs, which in turn increases the chain mobility and the hole size of the PDESs, thereby increasing the permeability of the acid gas through the SLMs. It is a valid argument that the molar free volume of the DESs also increased at the elevated temperatures resulting in the more permeability of the penetrant gas through the SLMs (Ghaedi et al, 2017a). The increment of CO 2 permeability with temperature was also found to be in good agreement with the ILs literature (Jindaratsamee et al, 2011;Santos et al, 2014).…”

“…To build a property model for ATPPB-DEG (the mixture of allyl triphenylphosphonium bromide and diethylene glycol), the density, viscosity and CO 2 solubility of ATPPB-DEG were used to regress property parameters. The experimental data was taken from the work by Ghaedi et al (2017a), Ghaedi et al (2017b), Ghaedi et al (2017c). From the sensitivity analysis results, it was concluded that the liquid surface tension, thermal conductivity, heat capacity and vapor pressure do not influence the CO 2 recovery and therefor these properties have been assumed to be the same as for deca-men.…”

“…In order to develop the GC and AC models, the most up-to-date databanks of various types of DESs were collected from the literature. The databanks involved 1239 data points from 149 DESs for density 35 66 , 1117 data points from 142 DESs for refractive index 11 , 39 , 41 43 , 47 , 50 , 54 , 57 , 59 , 63 , 64 , 67 87 , 461 data points from 24 DESs for heat capacity 59 , 70 , 88 93 , 398 data points from 37 DESs for speed of sound 42 , 43 , 67 , 72 , 75 , 77 , 82 , 94 100 and 538 data points from 98 DESs for surface tension 47 , 63 , 71 , 80 , 86 , 87 , 101 – 116 . All of the data were at atmospheric pressure.…”
