“…The microscopic experimental cross-section data on monoisotopic niobium can also be very useful for verification of nuclear reaction theory. We have already reported results on production of 93m Mo up to 10 MeV deuteron energy [13], 40 MeV deuteron energy [14] and 43 MeV alphas [15], earlier results of other authors on Nb + p were also found in the literature. We had also earlier systematic investigations on the excitation functions for production of 88 Zr and 88 Y (due to their medical and biological importance [16][17][18]) by proton and deuteron irradiation of Mo, Nb, Zr and Y targets [19], but the data for high energy proton irradiation on Nb is not complete and not reliable yet.…”

“…Keeping in mind the importance of proton rich radionuclides of Tc, we have investigated heavy ion induced production route of 93,94,95 Tc by bombarding 9 Be on natural yttrium target. Attempt has been made to develop different radiochemical separation technique for isolation of nca Tc from the bulk target matrix.…”

“…New experiments were performed on Ti and Cu targets stacked together and the nat Ti(α,x) 51 Cr, nat Cu(α,x) 66 Ga, nat Cu(α,x) 67 Ga and nat Cu(α,x) 65 Zn reactions were cross checked. Additional data were found which were measured on copper and used as monitor reactions in other independents experiments [6][7][8], therefore only the shape information of the excitation functions was used in the evaluation process. In the light of these new results the recommended cross sections for nat Ti(α,x) 51 Cr, nat Cu(α,x) 66 Ga and nat Cu(α,x) 65 Zn reactions were confirmed while in the case of the nat Cu(α,x) 67 Ga reaction a new spline fit was calculated and given as new recommended cross sections.…”
