“…The e↵ects of the pressure of N 2 and O 2 on the shape of vibration-rotation lines of the ⌫ 3 band of 12 CH 4 or 13 CH 4 have been rather widely studied experimentally, while airinduced e↵ects received comparatively less attention. Early and some recent measurements involved the use of a Voigt profile to retrieve N 2 , O 2 or air broadening or shift coe cients ( [19,20,21,22] and references therein), including their temperature dependence ( [23,24,25] and references therein). As the Voigt line shape model did usually not fully match the observed line profiles, these measurements were more commonly performed considering Dicke narrowing excluding [12,26,27,28] or including [29,30,31,32,33] line mixing or speed dependence with line mixing [11,34,35].…”
