Mechanical Properties of Lightweight Concrete Containing Melamine Formaldehyde Waste Using Full Factorial Design

Abstract: In this research, the utilization of melamine formaldehyde waste (MFW) as a fine aggregate in lightweight concrete was investigated. The MFW was used for replacing river sand 25% by weight with constant water-to-cement and cement-to-fine aggregate ratio of 0.5 and 1.0, respectively. Mechanical property tests were conducted on compressive strength and water absorption.
