Mechanisms of Groundwater Pollutants Transport in Tulkarm Area / Palestine

Abstract: This study aims at investigating the mechanisms of pollutants transport based on geological formations. The study classifies two sub-aquifers groups. The first group are wells which dogged within Senonian Abu Dis formation, and are mostly used extensively for municipal purposes. The second group are wells dogged with the most top Jerusalem-Hebron formation of Turonian age and mostly used frequently for irrigation purposes.
