“…Cloths are traditionally used to absorb menstrual flow; they are cheaper and create less environmental pollution, but are gradually being replaced by disposable sanitary napkins, particularly in urban areas. Cleaning and drying cloth is a problem if girls lack water, privacy and a drying place [29, 30].
