Mesh Network Based on MQTT Broker for Smart Home and IIoT Factory

Abstract: The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) provides connection among devices with the ability to monitor and exchange sensor data through the Internet. The need for reliability and high-quality data, as soon as possible that data monitoring able to afford the requirements from the IoT industrial standards. Recently, researchers have created more suitable communication protocols for IIoT devices, of which each has advantages such as XMPP, MQTT, AMQP in which MQTT is most widely used. This study proposes the utili… Show more

“…The word "smart" is emblazoned on the phone to demonstrate its intelligence and to demonstrate how many activities or aspects of daily life it can help through various services offered (Nie, 2013). The term "smart" has expanded to encompass a wider range of topics than just a single item, such as "smart cities", "smart university", "smart grids", "smart home", "smart app", "smart harvesting", "smart material", "smart fashion", and so on Amin et al, 2022;Anh, 2022;Pechsiri & Puengsungwan, 2023;Castiblanco et al, 2021;Shaffiyah et al, 2022;Luckyardi et al, 2022;Chaihang & Puengsunwan, 2021). The meaning or definition of a smart university at this time has not been narrowed to a general understanding (Cocoli et al, 2014).…”

“…The Internet of Things (IoT), commonly known as the Internet of Everything, is a network concept between software and machines in a global scope that aims to interact with each other. The main idea of IoT is to integrate the Internet, mobile devices, machines, electronic equipment, and others so that they are connected in real-time and can be shared by users (Talari et al, 2017;Saad, 2018;Thapwiroch et al, 2021;Anh, 2022;Pantjawati et al, 2020;). IoT connects people, devices, processes, and data that will enable stakeholders to find more efficient ways of turning data into valuable information (Shinrath et al, 2017;Mircea et al, 2021).…”
