“…We have only been able to study one binary complex [Zn(I-hip) 2 (H 2 O) 2 ] 2 AE 3H 2 O (8) which shows a noncoplanarity between the peptide bond and the aryl ring [dihedral angle C(11)-C(6)-C(5)-O(5), 97.3°] contrarily to the coplanar disposition present in normal hippurate derivatives [6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17].
