“…This type of wear is practically not allowed even in dry friction bearings and therefore the study of metal bearings by these methods are approximate given the inappropriate real mechanism of wear. Instead, the developed calculation method of research of MP bearings [20,21] is based on the fatigue mechanism of wear, and takes into account the change of conditions of contact interaction owing to wear. The developed method is based on the methodology of research of wear kinetics at sliding, as process of frictional-fatigue destruction of surface layers of tribomechanical system elements [2][3][4]6], and author's calculation methods of plain bearings with metal elements [2,3,6,22,23].…”

“…Data for the calculation of MP bearings: N = 500, 1000, 1500 N; F = N / l; D2 = 30 mm; 10  = 0.05 MPa [29,30]; volume filler content -30%. The example of the calculation examines friction both with greasing (boundary) and without greasing (dry).…”

“…In accordance with [17,18,25] an integro-differential equation of a certain type is used to determine the magnitude and distribution of the initial contact pressures ( ) p α in the investigated conjugation of cylindrical bodies of close radii. For its approximate solution by the collocation method, the function ( ) p α is taken in the form…”

“…Instead, according to the developed author's methods for the study of plain bearings with metal elements [17][18][19][20][21][22], in [23][24][25] the wear kinetics of cylindrical linear plain bearings with metal elements operating in con-ditions of boundary friction was studied. Regarding the study of this structures type with reciprocating motion of one of the elements, they are known in the literature regarding pneumatic cylinders [26][27][28][29] and hydraulic cylinders [30][31][32][33].…”
