Having the memorization of the quran is one of the identities that must be owned as the students at Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Pengembangan Ilmu Alquran (STAI-PIQ) Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. Memorizing the Quran is not an easy thing, in achieving success in memorizing the Quran, of course, there are various supporting factors. This study aimed to analyze the supporting factors of students’ success in memorizing the Quran. This study used a qualitative method with the type of case study. The data sources were taken from twelve informants through direct interviews using a set of interview protocols. The informants involved were selected by using a purposive sampling technique from three batches of entries, 2019, 2020, and 2021. All interview data were then analyzed thematically using Miles and Huberman approach. The research findings found eight factors that supported the success of memorizing the Quran, the eight factors were i) sincere intentions due to Allah S. W. T, ii) strong self-determination, iii) planning good memorization targets, iv) memorizing verses with correct recitation, v) always repeating the memorization diligently, vi) always being motivated by the supervisor, vii) living in the Quran environment, viii) using the right method. This study succeeded in revealing various factors that supported the success of students in memorizing the Quran. In fact, these eight findings can be used as a guide for students in achieving hafiz in the Quran.

Memorizing the Qur’an is a very big miracle. Because the Qur’an is the holy book of Muslims, in order to protect the Qur’an, apart from reading and understanding the Qur’an, we are also ordered to memorize the Qur’an. This study aims to analyze the actual problems of students in memorizing the Qur’an and provide solutions to these problems. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data sources are taken from two informants through in-depth interviews selected using the technique of purposive sampling, all informants were active teachers who chose the profession of catfish teacher education at the Khalid bin Walid Islamic boarding school. All interview results were then analyzed thematically using Miles and Hubermen's analytical techniques. The results of the analysis show that there are six problems for students in memorizing the Qur’an, namely; i) not serious about memorizing, ii) the target of memorization is not completed, iii) lack of motivation of students in memorizing, vi) santri cannot read the Qur’an properly, v) cannot manage time, vi) each student has different abilities. The results of this study can be a solution for prospective students and used as initial data for future researchers in studying this problem in different contexts and issues.

The method of memorizing the Qur'an Tawazun is a method that maximizes the use of the right brain and left brain, allowing a person to memorize, understand, and believe. Each category has several assessment points as a benchmark for the ability of students, which are used to overcome the level of failure of students in each category of learning the method of memorizing the Qur'an tawazun. The results of the evaluation of the learning of the tahfidz Islamic boarding school Daarul Huffadz Indonesia in 2020 were felt to be less than optimal, because the learning process was carried out simultaneously. This can be seen from the difference in scores that are quite different in each category of assessment. Based on the previous problem, it is necessary to group the results of the evaluation of learning the Qur'an memorization method. The goal is that every student gets maximum treatment and provides convenience for the institution, as well as teaching staff to carry out learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimum number of clusters as well as members of each cluster by measuring cluster performance using the Davies Bouldin Index (DBI) method and implementing the K-Means algorithm. The K-Means algorithm is a non-hierarchical data clustering method that is able to group large amounts of data, relatively quickly, and efficiently. This study uses 401 observational data and 12 attributes. From the calculation results, the optimal number of clusters lies in 2 clusters, with a Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) value of 1.439. There are 26 members of cluster 1, and 375 members of cluster 2.
