Micro‐environment and intracellular metabolism modulation of adipose tissue macrophage polarization in relation to chronic inflammatory diseases

Abstract: The accumulation and pro-inflammatory polarization of immune cells, mainly macrophages, in adipose tissue (AT) are considered crucial factors for obesity-induced chronic inflammatory diseases.
