Abstract:The worldwide expansion of mosquito-borne pathogens necessitates improved control measures, including approaches to restrict infection and transmission by mosquito vectors. Reducing transmission is challenging because determinants of vector competence for viruses like Zika (ZIKV) are poorly understood.
