“…Recently, electrically tunable dielectrics such as (Ba,Sr)TiO 3 (BST) ceramics have been extensively investigated for use in microwave tunable devices [9][10][11]. In our previous work, we determined the tunability of BMAZ ceramics [17]; these ceramics exhibited a high tunability of 27.4% under a bias of 1.0 kV/mm, as well as improved dielectric properties and breakdown strength.…”

“…BMAZ powders were prepared by the conventional solid-state reaction method, details of which are provided in our previous work [17]. The BMAZ particles were dispersed in an aqueous solution of H 2 O 2 (30%, 500 mL) by magnetically stirring at 80 °C for 2 h; the solution was then baked in an oven at 60 °C for 10 h. The resulting ~1.2-µm-sized BMAZ particles had an amorphous structure.…”

“…The tunability change could be regarded as a linear increase when electric bias is more than 0.8 kV/mm. That means the comparison condition for tunability is applicable when the applied biasing is above 0.8 kV/mm [36]. To compare the tunability of KsnB ceramics doped with varying amounts of Bi 2 o 3 , the comparison condition for tunability is chosen as E = 1.0 kV/mm.…”

“…For example, to improve the FOM of titanium-containing perovskite dielectric tunable ferroelectric materials such as (Ba,Sr)TiO 3 (Pb,Sr)TiO 3 , etc. [10,11], due to the oxidation state of titanium being easily reduced from Ti 4+ to Ti 3+ , strategies with doping various oxides (MgO, etc.) and ions (Mn 2+ etc.)…”
