Nuclear quadrupole hyperfine structures have been resolved in the rotational spectrum of thionyl aniline, C6H5NSO, using pulsed molecular beam microwave Fourier transform spectroscopy. High precision nuclear quadrupole coupling constants, rotational and quartic centrifugal distortion con stants have been determined from the analysis of 12 low-J transitions.
