Mitochondrial Genome Variations in Advanced Stage Endometriosis: A Study in South Indian Population

Abstract: BackgroundEndometriosis is a chronic gynecological benign disease that shares several features similar to malignancy. Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) mutations have been reported in all most all types of tumors.
