“…The M –O bond lengths of the complex (Mo–O1), (Mo–O2), (Mo–O3), (Mo–O4), and (Mo–O5) are 1.935(3) Å, 2.020(3) Å, 1.697(3) Å, 1.710(3) Å, and 2.321(3) Å, respectively, whereas the Mo1–N1 bond length is 2.247(3) Å. The M =O bond lengths are comparable to other reported hydroxamates complexes available in the literature . The trans angles formed by the complex are O3–Mo1–O5 = 168.31(14)° and O4–Mo1–N1 = 158.36(14)°, respectively.…”

“…A partial list of IR spectroscopic data of ligands and complexes are presented in the experimental section along with their synthesis while their details are given Table S1. All these complexes are well characterized by two prominent peaks at 924–951 and 903–911 cm –1 , which are assigned to ν asym (O=Mo=O) and ν sym (O=Mo=O) modes, respectively due to the cis ‐[MoO 2 ] structure . We did not observed more than two bands for these modes, indicating symmetric nature of cis ‐[MoO 2 ] groups in trinuclear complexes.…”

“…Accordingly, we have synthesized and examined a number of transition metal-Schiff base compounds using aroylhydrazone as tridentate (ONO) -donor ligand [16][17][18]. Their properties can be tuned by modification of either the aromatic aldehyde or the hydrazide component.…”
