Mobiliser le passé au temps de l’indépendance. Le cas du Sénégal, 1958-1980

Abstract: En avril 1960, le Sénégal accède à l’indépendance. Les années qui suivent sont l’occasion de cerner comment, au sein d’un État-nation nouvellement indépendant, certains symboles historiques sont mobilisés. Cet article prend pour objet deux « lieux de mémoire » qui sont investis, contestés, promus ou niés : la figure de Lat-Dior et le massacre de Thiaroye.
