Leveraging the Career Cards as Career Guidance Media Through Group Guidance Services for Islamic Junior High School’s Student. The purpose of this research is to to get the product result for helping the student throughthe career card development process; determine the feasibility of career cards and determine the effectiveness of career cards as a medium of career guidance through group guidance services. The method used in this research is Research and Development which was developed by Borg and Gall. The development phase involved research and information gathering, planning, product development, material and media expert validation tests, revisions and trials. Product eligibility criteria include aspects of feasibility, accuracy, attractiveness and usability carried out by the material expert validator and media expert validator. Validation by material experts obtained a score of 90.06% in the very feasible category and validation by media experts obtained a value of 89.47% in the very feasible category. Based on these results, the career card as a medium for career guidance through group guidance services is appropriate to use. The results of the analysis of the paired sample T test showed that the career card had a significant effect on student career maturity with a t value of 10.48 and a significant value of 0.00. So it can be concluded that the career card as a medium of career guidance through group guidance services has an effect on the career maturity of class VII students.Keywords: Career Guidance; Group conseling; Career Card.

Pemilihan karir merupakan proses yang sangat penting dalam perjalanan hidup seseorang. Di mana, setiap individu harus menentukan arah pilihan karirnya dengan baik agar kehidupannya dapat berkembang sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Akan tetapi, beberapa remaja dari keluarga broken home mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan arah pilihan karirnya karena beberapa hal. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana arah pemilihan karir remaja yang berasal dari keluarga broken home. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah studi literatur, yaitu menghimpun berbagai referensi teori dari artikel, jurnal, dan buku yang relevan dengan kasus atau permasalahan yang ditemukan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang ditemukan remaja dari keluarga broken home cenderung sulit untuk menentukan arah pemilihan karirnya dengan baik. Namun, beberapa hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa remaja dari keluarga broken home mampu menentukan pemilihan karirnya dengan menghadirkan faktor-faktor pendukung lainnya. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa remaja dari keluarga broken home dapat menentukan arah pemilihan karirnya jika dibarengi dengan beberapa faktor pendukung.

Career guidance is an effort to provide direction and coaching in determining the future that will be achieved by students. This study aims to describe and analyze career guidance services to increase motivation to continue their education to the tertiary level for students of SMAN 4 Tebing Tinggi. A qualitative approach is used in this study, with an analytical descriptive study method. As for data collection using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, to draw a conclusion. The results of this study found that the majority of class XII students at SMAN 4 Tebing Tinggi had high motivation to continue their studies at various tertiary institutions, although there were some of them who wanted to do business for reasons of family economic limitations. Through the provision of information services based on career guidance conducted by alumni of SMAN 4 Tebing Tinggi, students can get to know the campus world, choose study programs according to their talents and interests, and the positive impact of continuing their studies to a higher education level. Thus, students can consider making career decisions after graduating from high school with a sense of satisfaction, full awareness, and responsibility for career choices.
