Low critical thinking skills are characterized by the inability of students to analyze ideas or suggestions in a more specific direction. This research aims to analyze students' critical thinking abilities by applying the Si-5 Kite (SiMaYang) learning model. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Design type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study was the fifth grade of elementary school with relatively low critical thinking skills based on the pretest results. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The number of samples in the experimental class was 30, and the number in the control class was 29. The data collection technique used is a test consisting of a pretest and a posttest. The data analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive and inferential statistical. The research results showed a significant difference in students' critical thinking abilities between the group that applied the SiMaYang learning model and the group that applied conventional methods. This can be seen based on the results of the pretest and posttest of the experimental class, which show a significant difference in students' critical thinking abilities before and after being given treatment in the form of implementing the SiMaYang learning model. So, the SiMaYang learning model can be used as an alternative learning model that can be applied to improve elementary school students' critical thinking skills.

Kaum ibu mempelajari Bahasa Arab agar dapat memahami makna yang disampaikan dalam Al-Qur’an. Dan mereka lebih memilih untuk mempelajarinya secara online, karena lebih fleksibel dalam waktu dan biaya, terutama bagi mereka yang sibuk dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini membahas segala aktivitas pembelajaran Bahasa Arab dari grup whatsapp kaum ibu. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus dengan mewawancarai perwakilan dari kaum ibu yang belajar jenis-jenis kalam dalam Bahasa Arab, dan melakukan observasi grup kelasnya di aplikasi whatsapp. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan strategi kaum ibu dalam mempelajari jenis-jenis kalam, antara lain, membuat catatan, berdiskusi mengenai pemahaman materi dan tugas dengan pasangan belajar, sering melakukan latihan soal dengan membuka flash card kuis dari website quizizz, menyediakan waktu untuk mengulang hafalan, merekam hafalan dalam bentuk audio dan menyimpannya di google drive, agar bisa didengar ulang untuk menguatkan hafalan. Penelitian ini juga menjelaskan problematika kaum ibu saat belajar, antara lain, kesulitan dalam memahami materi, lemahnya daya ingat, dan manajemen waktu. Solusinya adalah mengulang materi yang sudah ada sebelum beralih ke materi selanjutnya, penggunaan metode belajar yang tepat, menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, menghafal kosakata dengan lagu yang riang, dan mengatur jadwal belajar.

Children are a state asset in the future as a generation that will carry the fate of the Indonesian nation. To make the country better and more advanced, it is very necessary to protect Indonesian children from acts of violence and realize gender equality because to bring about a better nation, we need golden generations who are intelligent in knowledge and morals, but in reality, the number of acts of violence against children and the majority of victims being female is always increasing. The Surabaya city government is committed to collaborating with DP3APPKB in carrying out responsive prevention of acts of violence against women and children, through the RW Hall Learning Center which aims to expand services to prevent acts of violence through psycho-educational outreach and counseling in every smallest environment, namely every RW. The method used is qualitative and presented descriptively. The results of this research show that the level of community participation is the main requirement in implementing the vision and mission of the Puspaga Balai Rw program.
