The dichotomy of knowledge is the main problem of Islamization and integration of knowledge in the concept of Islamic education. In essence, Islam does not recognize the division of knowledge, but it cannot be denied that in its history there have been explanations about knowledge that are obligatory ain and obligatory kifayah. This is the spirit of Islamic higher education institutions to carry out institutional transformations, curricula, to the level of application in the context of life. The change in status from STAIN/IAIN to UIN is an inevitability that has been going on since the 2000s. The aim of the article is to find philosophical concepts (ontology, epistemology and axiology) in the transformation of Islamic Religious Higher Education institutions (PTKIN). The method used is a systematic literature review (SLR) with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) approach. The data sources for this article are journals and articles related to the topic of discussion via Google Scholar and then extracted to be used as discussion material. The results obtained are the freedom for State Islamic higher education institutions to innovate in institutions, faculties and curricula in order to create a UIN that can integrate Religious and General Sciences through the policies of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion.

Pernikahan bukan sekedar menyangkut persoalan keluarga dan urusan perdata an sich. Dalam perspektif Islam pernikahan terpaut erat dengan aspek ibadah, sosial, dan hukum. Melakukan pernikahan berarti mengimplementasikan tiga aspek di atas sebagai fase menyempurnakan sebagian agama. Tujuan pernikahan adalah terciptanya keluarga sakinah, mawaddah dan rahmah, di mana untuk mewujudkannya dibutuhkan sikap kehati-hatian dalam menentukan pasangan. Islam menawarkan alternatif berupa konsep kafa’ah sebagai solusi bagi perempuan dan walinya dalam menentukan calon suami yang tepat. Artikel ini akan membahas mengenai urgensi ekualitas (kafa’ah) dalam pernikahan Islam ditinjau dari perspektif teori habitus dan ranah Pierre Bourdieu. Kafa’ah bersifat rekomendatif, dalam arti seorang calon suami seyogianya sebanding dengan calon isteri berdasarkan kriterium yang mencakup dimensi agama, Islam, kekayaan, keturunan, kesempurnaan fisik dan psikis, profesi, atau kemerdekaan. Sejumlah kriteria di atas dalam teori Bourdieu merupakan bagian dari ‘modal’ yang dimiliki calon suami, sebagai bentuk klausul yang mesti dipenuhi sebelum melangsungkan akad nikah. Posisi urgensi kafa’ah dalam pernikahan Islam adalah untuk mengamputasi dominasi berlebihan atas salah satu agen (suami atau isteri) dalam ranah keluarga. Sehingga arus konflik dan suasana disharmoni kehidupan rumah tangga dapat diantisipasi secara signifikan. Dengan demikian, equilibrium dan keharmonisan rumah tangga dapat terealisasi sesuai amanat dan tujuan pernikahan.

The Implementation of Integration of Religion and Science at State Islamic Higher Education

This research investigated the integration of religion and science in the state of Islamic higher education. Methods of the investigation were library research of published and unpublished documents on the process and implementation of integration of science and religion at three state Islamic universities: the State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, the State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, and the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Data obtained using the following databases: Google Scholar, Sinta- Science and Technology Index, Ebsco-host, Study gate, Sage Journal, Free Scientific Electronic Library (SciELO), and others. The findings showed that there is poor integration of religion and science within the three universities. This conclusion can be seen from the analysis of the students' final report, theses and dissertations from these three universities. This study suggests a further assessment of all State Islamic Universities by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in promoting the integration of religion and science in State Islamic Higher Education.
