Modeling and control of a boost converter for pseudo-resistive Input behavior

Abstract: In this paper we present the analysis and development of a boost-type switching converter for efficient power conversion from a source with an arbitrary voltage waveform containing multiple frequencies to a DC storage medium such as a battery. This type of energy transfer is of great interest in various green energy conversion technologies involving irregular sources of power such as wave and wind with time-varying amplitudes and frequencies.
