Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to describe the business process modeling and simulation of a textile supply chain using Colored Petri nets. Our model takes into account both the source process and delivery logistics that exist between any two members of supply chain; moreover, we model other activities performed by the company such as manufacturing clothing. “…Thus, they are well applicable to supply chain management issues. An application example for textile supply chain modeling is presented in Santana-Robles et al 49 Another work 50 presents an application for modeling and analysis of supply chain disruptions. Implementation of CPN for risk identification and management issues is also proposed in Liu et al 51 and Zhang et al 52 Additionally, Colored time Petri net (CTPN) is widely used for modeling dynamic supply chain performance (see Liu et al 53 and Mazzuto et al 54 ).…”

“…In the second stage, the research uses analytic hierarchy processes to form a decision-making model for different green initiatives in the fashion industry. Likewise, several other existing papers use different tools and methods to deal with problems in textile supply chains [10][11][12][13][14]. One gap in the current literature, however, is a study that provides a sustainable outsourcing strategy to deal with emerging challenges, such as offshoring and reshoring practices.…”
