Modern Applications of Plasmonic Nanoparticles: From Energy to Health

Abstract: PROGRESS REPORTdisciplines. Besides energy applications, plasmonic nanoparticles have also garnered extraordinary interest in biomedical research. An important example here is the demonstration that the strong photothermal response of plasmonic nanoparticles renders them potential cancer cell and tumor killers.
