Abstract:The article presents a survey of modern studies of rural everyday life and rural culture as the key features of rural tourism. The author describes a modern domestic attempt of studying rural everyday life within such scientific trend as peasant studies, characterizes foreign approaches to analysing rural culture as a particular area of scientific interest.
