Modern Coastal Mangrove Swamp Stratigraphy and the Ideal Cyclothem

Abstract: The general stratigraphy of the "ideal" cyclothem of Late Paleozoic age can be recognized in a modern succession of sedimentary units underlying the coastal mangrove swamps of southwestern Florida.
