Modernization of Public Consciousness as a Subject Sociology of Social Change

Abstract

This material was prepared within the framework of the VII Congress of Sociologists of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and is a report of the authors at this event. From the very beginning of gaining Independence, sociological research in Kazakhstan has been integrated into the system of public administration and has been an important tool for policy-making taking into account the needs and needs of the population, ensuring timely and reliable feedback between the authorities and citizens.
