“…5) with greater surface coverage and for RuO 2 it was the 1st electron transfer step (Eq. 4) . Due to abnormally low Tafel slope value in the case of FS 80, the rds could not be predicted precisely.…”

“…The geometric and electronic factors of the starting "electrolytic manganese dioxide (EMD) material" are modied by Dario et al 213 to enhance its electrochemical activity, in particular to overpotential and Tafel slope, towards the oxygen evolution reaction. As a fuel, hydrogen generates electricity and environmental friendly H 2 O as by-product.…”

“…To fit the EIS data, two types of circuits are commonly used which are, two time constant parallel (2TP) as proposed by Armstrong and Henderson and two time constant series (2TS) as proposed by Lasia and Chen (as depicted in Figure d) where, uncompensated and charge transfer resistance was abbreviated as R u and R CT , respectively. In the case of 2TP, the CPE 2 ‐R p couple signifies hydrogen adsorption‐desorption kinetics and in the case of 2TS, CPE 1 ‐R 1 signifies the porosity of the electrode material . Phase angle vs frequency plot for C 1 M 1 S (as depicted in Figure S3) revealed the presence of potential dependent as well as independent time constant and thus, the equivalent circuit model matched well with the 2TS model.…”

“…The R u and R CT denote uncompensated and charge transfer resistance, respectively. CPE 1 ‐R 1 and CPE 3 ‐R P arose due to terminal peroxide group formation and active species adsorption‐desorption, respectively . The equivalent circuit fitted data are shown in Table S6.…”
