Molecular-Dynamics Analysis of the Mechanical Behavior of Plasma-Facing Tungsten

Abstract: We report a systematic computational analysis of the mechanical behavior of plasma-facing component (PFC) tungsten focusing on the impact of void and helium (He) bubble defects on the mechanical response beyond the elastic regime.
