“…Acceptable QT/QTc interval measurements were performed. Abellas-Sequeiros et al ( 22 ) published a research letter about QT interval monitoring in patients with COVID-19 with KardiaMobile 6L. Seventy patients were enrolled, and tracings obtained with KardiaMobile 6L were of sufficient quality to provide an accurate QT interval measurement in 69 of them (98.6%).…”

“…However, the implementation of manual measurement of repolarization ECG markers in the clinical setting is prone to variability by intra- or inter-observer bias. In addition, differences in determining QTc interval measurement exist in various published studies, such as the heart-rate correction methods by Bezett or Framingham [ 33 ].…”

“…In the current issue of the journal, Abellas--Sequeiros et al [2] report an experience using a hand-held ECG-recording device to measure the QTc interval in patients with COVID-19. The authors used the KardiaMobile6L ® 6-lead ECG to make recordings at varying frequencies in patients who were taking azithromycin, hydroxychloroquine, lopinavir/ritonavir, or combinations of these drugs.…”
