“…Efek samping yang terjadi memang tidak berbahaya bagi pasien tetapi cukup membuat pasien merasa khawatir. Penelitian yang menganalisis efek samping OAT dilakukan oleh Fitriani (2019) didapatkan 26 orang(60,5%) pasien TB paru yang berobat merasakan efek samping ringan seperti mual,sakit perut, urin berwarna kemerahan dan lain-lain, sedangkan sebanyak 17 orang (39,5%) mengalami efek samping berat seperti kemerahan pada kulit dan rasa terbakar pada kaki [13] dan penelitian Abbas (2017) efek samping obat yang paling umum adalah nyeri sendi, dan efek samping lain 81% adalah mual (79,3%), gatal-gatal (77,6%) dan kehilangan nafsu makan (75,9%), pusing (67,2%), kesemutan (50%), tuli (6,9%) [21]. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan berdasarkan penelitian-penelitian yang telah dilakukan, rata-rata pasien yang menjalani pengobatan OAT merasakan efek samping ringan hingga berat dan efek samping tersebut merupakan suatu kondisi yang tidak diinginkan meskipun obat sudah digunakan sesuai dengan dosis dan pemakaian dan mempengaruhi kepatuhan pasien dalam meminum obat.…”
