“…The scope of the use of e-learning tools in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) studies in a higher education context is quite broad. Results of recent research suggest that Moodle in particular can be used effectively to train individual communicative language skills such as reading comprehension (Bataineh & Mayyas, 2017;Ismail, Rahmat & Emzir, 2020), written (Mujiono & Fatimah, 2022) and oral production (Manan, Emzir & Rahmat, 2019), to expand the mastery of grammar (Bataineh & Mayyas, 2017;Pumjarean, Muangnakin & Tuntinakhongul, 2017) and vocabulary (Malmir & Aghazamani, 2019) or to train partial linguistic competences such as phonetic and phonology competence (Vančová, 2020).
